The dragonfly house is an elegant & whimsical sanctuary. There are lots of windows & skylights which make it light & inviting. It is decorated in soothing colors throughout. Guests always tell us that it's hard to leave when it's time to go home.

* Bedrooms:
The upstairs master has a plush queen size bed w/luxurious bedding & french doors to the small balcony which overlooks an arboleda in front of Schwan Lagoon. There is a comfy chair & ottoman next to the bed for reading. The master bath is all travertine w/glass mosaic tile, a deep jacuzzi tub w/a unique 3/4 european shower door that swings in & out & a small walk-in closet w/2 luggage racks for your convenience. There is a set of drawers for storage & an armoire houses a 13" TV w/a DVD player & there is a radio/CD player for your enjoyment. From this room you'll hear the ducks settling in for the night when you do & songbirds will welcome the new day.

The charming guest bedroom is also upstairs. It has a full size bed, small deck & it's own adjacent bathroom with shower. It has it's own little deck & it's own bathroom next door. There are also 2 luggage racks in this closet as well as pillows & blankets for the sleeper sofa downstairs. You can usually hear the waves from this room.
Both upstairs bathrooms have hairdryers & plush towels.

* Kitchen/dining:
The gourmet kitchen features beautiful concrete counters, all stainless steel appliances include a 2 burner Viking range w/ Jenn Air grill & convection oven & a quiet Bosch dishwasher. The utility garage houses a coffee maker, toaster & blender. We have lovely dishes & utensils. The dining table seats 4 & there are 3 barstools at the lovely curved concrete counter right next to it. There is a juicer, waffler & built-in microwave as well as anything else you may need. There is high-speed internet connection available for you to hook your laptop up to. Kitchen & dining rooms both have skylights that flood the area with beautiful light.

* Living Area:
An open floorplan with an opening wall system meaning when you open the triple panel German glass door the beautiful backyard becomes an extension of the living room. Radiantly heated concrete floors & the instant-on gas fireplace assure coziness.The sofa folds out to a comfortable queen bed. There is a TV with DVD/VCR player. There are games such as Scrabble, Yahtzee, checkers, chess & cards in the armoire under the TV & a small collection of books in the hall. The downstairs half bath has a one-of-a-kind red dyed concrete counter.

* Backyard: dragonfly
The backyard is a haven for relaxation. There is a hammock, 2 adirondack chairs, a charcoal BBQ, 4 rod iron rocking seats around the patio table & birdbath. It is a nature lover's delight since it backs up to the Schwan Lagoon. Our feeders attract all kinds of birds that will delight you and provide endless entertainment.

* Garage:
There is a set of quiet energy efficient washer & dryer in the garage & an iron & ironing board.

This is also where you'll find the air hockey table & fooz-ball table as well as fluffy beach towels, beach chairs, a large rolling ice chest & a boogie board.

* Parking:
There is parking in the driveway for 2 regular size cars. There is one sideways slot in front of the house for an additional car.
